Renewal is part of The Vineyard movement of churches.  The Vineyard was established in the USA by John Wimber in the early 80’s and the movement has grown to over 2000 churches in more than 90 countries.

 

Each Vineyard church is autonomous and self-governing, but they are connected, supported and encouraged by a National Director.  There are around seventy Vineyard churches across Kenya and Renewal is supported by Edgar King, the Kenya National Director, who serves as Lead Pastor at Trinity Vineyard Church, Nakuru.
